The Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company Limited has appointed Chemiplas as distributor for their Nutritionals product range of dairy and plant protein hydrolysates in Australia and New Zealand to further develop their hydrolysate business within the Australasian market.
“We are excited to be entering a new chapter in partnering with Chemiplas. The strength of the sales and marketing team at Chemiplas allows us to improve our visibility in the Australasian market and increase support for our hydrolysate products.” - Eric Morrison, Business Manager Nutritionals at Tatua.
Established in 1914, Tatua is a globally recognised manufacturer of specialised dairy ingredients and food products. Tatua’s 101 shareholder farms and 400 employees in New Zealand, Japan, China and the USA are committed to innovation and excellence, whilst delivering value to global customers.
Tatua is located right in the heart of New Zealand’s largest dairying region, the Waikato - 35km east of Hamilton. All Tatua supply farms are situated within 12km of the manufacturing facilities.
Tatua operates commercially in four business units: Nutritionals, Foods, Flavours and Ingredients.
Tatua’s Nutritionals business unit offers a wide range of protein hydrolysates for a variety of specialised nutrition applications, such as infant nutrition, sports/active nutrition, medical nutrition and functional foods.
Hydrolysates are a form of “pre-digested” proteins. Tatua’s protein hydrolysates are produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of whole protein sources, including whey, casein, soy and pea.
